Neuman, Viola (Marriage - 9 July 1938)
The marriage of Miss Viola Neuman, daughter of Mrs. A. Neuman of Wausau to F. E. Blank of Milwaukee which took place on July 9th, was announced Saturday at a family gathering held at the home of the bride’s brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ewert at Colby.
The bride is a graduate of the Colby, Wis. High school and has been employed at Milwaukee the past several years. The groom’s parents live in Germany and he formerly played on one of Germany’s soccer teams and did airplane piloting. At present, he is an inspector at the Seamon Body plant in Milwaukee where the couple are making their home.
Those present at the family gathering were Mrs. A. Neuman and Miss Bernita Neuman of Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. L. Neuman and son of Unity, Mr. and Mrs. B. Neuman and family and Mr. and Mrs. R. Neuman and daughter, all of Colby, Miss Roma Neuman and Cyril Whitney of Milwaukee, Miss Pauline Martins and Helmuth Kuester of Unity and W. Hingiss, Jr., of Owen, Wis.
